Maine Trips
6 Day Bike Tours
All our 6 day tours include all transfers. The pick up point for each trip is either Portland, Maine or Bangor, Maine and it is listed on the trip page and in the trip confirmation package. Boston Logan's Airport and the Manchester, New Hampshire airport are within easy driving distance of Portland and Bangor and often offer cheaper air fares.
3 Day Bike Tours
On all our 3 day tours, your leaders will meet you at the inn at 2:00 pm on the first day of the tour. All of our 3 day tours are within a two hour drive of Portland. If you are arriving in Portland the day before the trip and leaving the day after the trip concludes, the trip leaders can bring you from/to Portland.
Mid-Coast Limo (www.midcoastlimo.com) 800-937-2424 offers regular shuttle service up the coast and the trip leaders can collect you from the Mid-Coast drop off point.
Airport Information
The Bangor International Airport (BGR) www.flybangor.com, 207-947-0384, is served by American Airlines, Continental, Delta, Northwest, and US Airways. The Portland International Jetport (PWM) www.portlandjetport.org, 207-774-7301, is served by Continental Airlines, Delta Airlines, Northwest Airlines, United Airlines, US Airways, and Jet Blue (May 2006) The following rental car companies serve the Portland Jetport: Avis, Budget, Hertz, and National, and Alamo.
Boston's Logan Airport (BOS) www.Massport.com/logan, 1-800-23-LOGAN, is approximately 2.0 hours from Portland and 4.0 hours from Bangor is served by all major airlines, except Southwest, and all major rental car companies.
Manchester N.H. Airport (MHT) www.flymanchester.com, approximately 1.5 hours from Portland and 3.5 hours from Bangor is served by all major airlines, including Southwest, and all major rental car companies.
