A cyclist's dream, our bike tour of the Blue Hill Peninsula and Mount Desert Island offers a wonderful combination of country roads and pristine ocean views.
Day 1 - Cycling Along the Mighty Penobscot River
Our trip begins in Bangor where we cycle along Penobscot River as it winds its way towards the Atlantic Ocean. After a picnic lunch over looking Verona Island, we pedal along Penobscot Bay to the village of Castine where a lobster feast awaits us.

Day 2 - Exploring the Historic Village of Castine
We begin our day cycling through the historic village of Castine and continue cycling the wild western shores of Penobscot Bay. Along the way, we enjoy a gourmet picnic lunch overlooking Brooksville Harbor before crossing Eggamoggin Reach onto Deer Isle and pedaling to the picturesque fishing village of Stonington.

Day 3 - Kayaking Quiet Coves
We spend our morning exploring the ocean by kayak. The afternoon is yours for exploring Stonington relaxing, or hiking.

Day 4 - Cycling the Sunrise Neck and Experiencing Blue Hill Falls
Our morning ride carries us out the Sunrise Neck with the crystal blue ocean surrounding us. Along the way we stop at the funky and delicious home of“Nervous Nellies jams and jellies. After a picnic lunch in Brooklin, the summer home of E.B. White, author of the classic children’s story "Charlotte's Web" we cycle along Blue Hill Bay and out the quiet Newbury Neck before a transfer to Bar Harbor

Day 5 - Crossing Frenchman Bay and Discovering the Rugged Beauty of the Schoodic Peninsula
Today we enjoy a unique ferry ride across Frenchman Bay to Winter Harbor and the Schoodic Peninsula. We experience the dramatic power of the open ocean as it crashes along the Schoodic’s coast before cycling to Corea a true lobstering community
