Offering a wonderful mix of quiet coastline and quaint villages our multi-sport adventure is my idea of the perfect week in Maine. During our week long adventure we bike, kayak, and hike our way through the panoramic beauty of the Maine Coast.

Day 1 - Cycling Pemaquid Point and Christmas Cove |
|
Leaders will collect you from your hotel in Portland for the transfer to Pemaquid Point After our trip briefing and a chance to explore Pemaquid Point, we cycle to Christmas Cove stopping to explore Pemaquid Harbor and a hidden cove.
Cycling Options: 17, 30, and 40 miles
Meals: Dinner

| Day 2 - Cycling Along Rugged Coastline and Exploring the Village of Damariscotta |
|
We hop on our bikes and begin our day pedaling along the ocean as the surf pounds the rocky coast. Later our route turns inland and follows quiet country roads to the charming village of Damariscotta, a wonderful spot for lunch and exploration.
Cycling Options: 12, 27, 40 and 49 miles

| Day 3 - Hiking Monhegan Island and Exploring Artist's Studios |
|
A morning ferry carries us to Monhegan Island. As we walk off the dock, the village welcomes us with its charming cottages and myriad artist's studios. After a morning to explore the town and to enjoy lunch, we hike to the backside of the island where 200 foot cliffs provide dramatic views of the
rocky coast and the open ocean.

| Day 4 - Cycling Quiet Coastline and Discovering Port Clyde and Camden |
| After a ferry ride back to the mainland, we hop on our bikes and cycle along the coast towards the funky town of Rockland. We pause along the way at Birch Point State Park for a picnic lunch and to enjoy the tall green pines looming over the sparkling blue ocean and to visit one of my favorite lighthouses.
Cycling Options: 12, 21, 33, and 55 miles
Meals: Breakfast, Lunch
Lodging: 2 Nights at the Hartstone Inn or the Blackberry Inn

| Day 5 - Kayaking Maine's Coast and a Sunset Sail |
| We begin our day kayaking Maine’s Penobscot Bay. After a picnic lunch, on Curtis Island in the heart of Camden Harbor, choose a hike in the Camden Hills or take time to browse Camden's shops and galleries. In the evening we enjoy a sunset sail on a classic wooden schooner.

| Day 6 - Cycling through Rockport and Beauchamp Point |
| On our last morning we enjoy a victory lap around the town of Rockport. From the early morning sun shining on Rockport harbor, to the quiet roads of Beauchamp Point it is easy to see why our Route has been called the most scenic six miles in New England.
