The Milford Wilderness

A New Zealand Cycling Vacation

< >

Revel in Kiwi hospitality, cuisine, and wine as we experience the South Island by bicycle. This is an amazing chance to encounter New Zealand’s diverse ecosystems and natural beauty. We begin with a ride through Canterbury Plains, stopping for lunch at a local winery. Summer Feet is known for unusual and ultra comfortable accommodations. For part of this trip we stay at an authentic working sheep farm. You can imagine the breakfast will be hearty! New Zealand’s highest peak, breathtaking glacial lakes, alpine villages, and historic gold mining areas are just a few of the destinations we will explore. Queenstown is New Zealand’s adventure capital—you’ll have plenty of time here. But we’re not finished! A Milford Sound cruise—perhaps spotting whales and dolphins—includes a night onboard and a kayaking adventure, bush walks, hidden lakes, and of course, a stop for afternoon tea! Unique, delicious, unforgettable, and fun—that’s Summer Feet.
