“The leaders were caring and most importantly knowledgable of the area and very concerned for our safety and proper bicycle handling. I would highly recommend the trip for a wonderful introduction to the Maine Coast and a wonderful day on a bicycle! ”

5 Lighthouse Bike Tour

Our signature day trip. Enjoy gentle cycling along the shores of Casco Bay. See 5 lighthouses, wander the shore, get great views of Portland, Casco Bay, and the open ocean. Your friendly and knowledgeable guides will teach you all about Portland’s rich history and you will enjoy Portland’s Best Lobster Roll (other choices available) overlooking the ocean. Offered daily from May through October.

Explore Casco Bay

Join us for a day of adventure on and around Casco Bay. We hop the morning mail boat to cruise among the islands of Casco Bay. We step off the ferry onto Chebeague Island, the largest of Portland’s islands where we enjoy easy cycling and experience island life. We stop for lunch at the Chebeague Island Inn before hopping another ferry to Cousins Island and the mainland. Choose to shuttle via van or bike back to Portland.

Bikes and Brews Tour

Voted one of the best beer cities in America, Portland is home to over 12 micro-breweries. Enjoy some easy cycling, learn Portland’s rich history (prohibition started here) while we taste some of our favorite local beers. Tours run daily except Sunday for groups of 3 or more.

Bike and Hike Tour

Enjoy an easy 8- mile bike ride and a 1-mile walk on this 2.5 hour tour of Portland. After a brief safety talk, we will hop on our bikes and pedal along the Eastern Promenade.  We will stop to learn about Ft Gorges, Bug Light, and the Calendar Islands before cycling into Falmouth and Mackworth Island. Here we leave our bikes for the one-mile walk around the island.  You will enjoy stunning views of Casco Bay and visit the cemetery where Governor Baxter buried his dogs. After hiking we hop back on the bikes and pedal back along the ocean to Portland.

The Lobster Roll

We begin by cycling out of Portland to the summer community of Prouts Neck. From here we cycle along the coast stopping twice for lobster rolls before pedaling back into Portland for a celebratory beer and another lobster roll.

Beaches, Boats, and Buoys

In the Kennebunk’s, Our Beaches, Boats, and Buoys shows you the famous beaches as well as some of the local’s favorite spots. You will cycle along the ocean, enjoy stunning ocean views, see the famous house, the sea captain’s home and discover the beauty of this area.  Available for groups of 4 or more.

Bailey Island

For those looking for a little more cycling, this 45-mile ride cannot be beaten. We will hop on our bikes early in the morning and cycle up the coast passing through Freeport and Brunswick on our way to Bailey Island. We will enjoy some great cycling along the coast and end with lunch overlooking the water. After lunch, we will hop on the Casco Bay Ferry that will carry us back to Portland.
